What are the tide and navigation considerations for entering the marina?

The marina sits just south of the Oyster River estuary. The channel is narrow and shallowest by the outermost post, and you will need a minimum tide of about seven feet for a boat with a 4.5-foot draft. The tide reference is Mitlenatch Island. Can I live aboard my boat in the marina?

For the comfort and safety of all guests, live-aboard vessels are not permitted based on direction from Vancouver Island Health Authority (VIHA). Our docks are for recreational moorage only. 

Where can I buy fuel for my boat?

There is no fuel dock at our marina, but refuelling is available nearby at Salmon Point (regular gas) and Discovery Harbour (regular and diesel).

Are there freezers to store my catch?

No, there are no freezers to store your catch on site.

Is there a fish cleaning station?

Yes. There is a fish cleaning station at the marina, along with a Tackle Shack for bait and supplies. The fish cleaning station is only open seasonally.

Is there power and fresh water at the docks?

Yes. Our docks offer fresh water and 15 amp power, available in slips from 26 to 42 feet (7.9 metres to 12.8 metres).

Can I launch my boat and leave my truck and trailer on site?

Yes, you are welcome to use our boat launch. Boat trailers and tow vehicles must be parked on the resort entrance road, subject to availability.  Storage is not permitted in the Resort for people who are only utilizing the launch. 

Is there a boat launch, and what does it cost?

Yes, we have a boat launch ramp. Launching is $25 per day, or $350 for an annual pass.

Do you offer daily or short-term (transient) moorage?

What are your moorage rates?

Moorage is available daily, weekly, monthly, and annually, with rates based on boat slip size. You can view current rates and download the rate sheet on the Marina page.
