From humble RV park to refined Vancouver Island resort
Pacific Playgrounds Oceanside Resort started as a rugged, 28-acre parcel of oceanside property when it was first purchased in the 1970s, but the dream to develop it into a premier RV resort and marina was there right from the start.
Today, Pacific Playgrounds has transformed into an upscale beach vacation destination, with millions of dollars in renovations and amenity upgrades invested to ensure each guest has their best ‘playground’ experience possible.
Moving forward, we’ll continue to upgrade the common areas and add more of our extremely popular stay-in-place RVs. Nothing is more simple than packing your suitcase and cooler for your stay at a luxury RV.
Our community spans seasons and generations
We believe it’s important for you to feel as comfortable here as you would at home. That’s why we’ve worked hard to create a safe and welcoming community that offers friendly, helpful service any time you need it. We’ve taken every step to provide all of the comforts and amenities you need to make your time with us unforgettable.
As a result, we have many families who come back, summer after summer, to call Pacific Playgrounds home for a couple of weeks or even months, and what’s more, once they’re all grown up, they return — with their children. Couples who enjoy the quiet of the shoulder seasons or the dynamism of winter storm-watching often book again as soon as their stay ends.
Pacific Playgrounds is a terrific campground. Lots of amenities nearby. For families, there are lots of fun activities such as river rafting, mini-golfing, actual golfing, swimming pool, football field, fishing, and many more just a short walk away. One of my best childhood memories.
