Pacific Playgrounds Fishing Charters
&
Scenic Ocean Tours

Come enjoy some wild and spectacular fishing with our professional and fully certified Guide, Ryan Achen. Ryan is an experienced Guide and is ready to show you a true ocean adventure you will never forget. Ryan has been fishing the waters around Vancouver Island for over 25 years and knows where and how to land the big salt water fish.

The areas directly around Pacific Playgrounds Resort are home to some of the biggest Salmon and Halibut on the East Coast of Vancouver Island as well as prawns and crabs. Fish for Coho, Pink, and Chinook Salmon as well as a variety of other fish, such as snapper and cod. These fishing areas are all within 45 minutes of Pacific Playgrounds so travel time is limited and fishing time maximized. Fishing the calm waters of the Salish Sea ( formerly known as the Strait of Georgia ) is truly a wonderful experience.

Book your Fishing Charter now and experience what it’s like to fish the natural coastal waters of Vancouver Island! Stay on-site in one of our fully equipped two bedroom cottages or rental RV’s. Ryan will help make this a trip of a lifetime.

For families with young children not quite ready to experience ocean fishing, book a scenic ocean tour and see seals, dolphins, orcas and other marine life in their natural environment.

A little ocean adventure

Pacific Playgrounds offers scenic ocean tours on a beautiful 27’ Larson boat. Whether you’re interested in taking your family on a little ocean adventure where seals, dolphins, orcas and other marine life can be observed in their natural habitat or perhaps planning for that special romantic proposal, our Captain, Ryan Achen, will ensure your trip will be memorable.

“I’ve always wanted to provide a great service for visitors to Vancouver Island. Come on out on the water and enjoy your time here!” — Ryan Achen
